The old man at the bridge

There was a civil war in Spain in the 1930s. During this war many cities were bombed, a lot of people were killed. People had to leave their homes, properties, and domestic animals because of artillery. The story is about an old man who had left his home, two goats, a cat and a few pigeons in his native town and had to move to Barcelona. He was tired of that pointless war. He couldn't walk any longer, because he had also lost his hope, and life didn't mean anything to him.
That situation in Spain can be compared with the situation during the war in Karabakh. Hundreds of thousands of Armenians and Azerbaijanians had to leave their birthplaces, homes, properties, domestic animals and move to other places.
